最初發行於1998年，是在90年代老派死亡金屬鼎盛時期的末尾，Incantation的經典極端金屬發行版本“ Diabolical Conquest”具有一定的邪教地位。從風格上講，由老式死亡金屬為基準，從中元素範圍從沉重的厄運風格，到爆破聲的死亡粉碎，且最重要的是其中還包含了一些黑死元素的音色，這種風格後來在極端金屬粉絲中深受歡迎。
